Arrogance distorts Truth. Ego has certain skill-sets manifested from the arrogance patterns of the Sin Nature, such as: self-absorption; self-deception; self-justification (Galatians 6:3; James 3: 14-16).

It is the epitome of arrogance for finite men to think they are impressing INFINITE GOD. It is also one of Satan’s most successful campaigns against God’s Plan of Grace for mankind — the Cross of Christ. Reference Isaiah 55:8, and think about it often, especially before you make important decision. Ask the Lord what He would do or have you do.
