As that timeless hymn tells us, “GRACE, grace, God’s Grace! Greater than all the world to me.”
There is perhaps no greater word brought over from the Greek Language that can more adequately describe our undefinable God, than Grace.
GRACE may be defined as: “All that God is free to do for man based on the Cross sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.”
God’s Essence Describes God’s Characteristics, His Attributes, but they are not His Name.
There is no single word that can adequately define God. In fact, all the words ever spoken and written about God would be inadequate to describe God. God is indefinable in one word or even by “ALL” words! Yet, we can know God in personal ways. Would you like to know God intimately? Then, come along and meet God personally.
Only God can define Himself!
God did define Himself as “I AM” (Exodus 3:14). “I AM WHO I AM!” is the intrinsic meaning of “YHWH, pronounced Yahweh. God is stating: “I am the one who IS,” which emphasizes “self-existence.” God is saying “I Am the Self-existent One.”
“I AM” means “TO BE.”
In our ‘finite-ness,’ there is no place beyond “To Be,” for our thinking to go. God is at the end of our thinking road. God is at the beginning of our thinking road.
“I Am Alpha and Omega — the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”
“I Am the Great I Am” (Revelation 1:8; 21:6; 22:13).
The Lord our God is the beginning and the end of all things. God calls forth all the generations of man (Isaiah 41:4).
The Name for God in the Old Testament “YHWH” (Yahweh), was/is sacred, and means “Redeemer.” This word suggests a close, personal relationship between Redeemer and redeemed. It also suggests a need — a problem, and it suggests a provision or a Plan — God has a Plan for mankind, for Creation, and forever.
Think about this for a moment: God has a Plan! His Plan includes you and me as believers. God has a plan for unbelievers and it centers around His Son — Jesus Christ. Have you received Christ as your personal Savior? “I believe in God,” you say. What do you believe in God?
BELIEVING IN GOD IS NOT ENOUGH, EVEN THE DEVIL BELIEVES IN GOD, but he has a major problem. So, ask yourself this question: Why did Christ die on the cross? What is your answer? What exactly, does the Scripture say about why Christ died? Do you know? Maybe we should examine what the Bible has to say. Shall we?
GOD IS unapproachable. GOD approaches man.
God accepts His Own Righteousness, which is absolute (perfectly Righteous). Man’s righteousness is relative. Man’s relative righteousness is an extension of/from man’s depraved nature, therefore totally unacceptable to God (Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:19-23; 4:1-7). God the Father rejected human good deeds and aspirations.
God chose Christ His Son to Redeem man, because there is no other way to be saved (John 10:9-11; 14:6; Acts 4:12; Ephesians Chapters One & Two).
Men reject the blood (spiritual death) of Christ on the Cross, therefore, God the Father rejects human good. Without trusting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you must stand on your own relative righteousness, which has already been rejected by God the Father (John 3:15-18, 36).
You will stand (kneel) before Jesus Christ at the Great White Throne Judgment. You will face the Christ that all your life you rejected. Jesus Christ came as your personal Savior, and if you have not received Christ as your personal Savior, you will perish (Romans 6:23). If you have rejected Christ, God will respect your rejection by rejecting you! Read the entire 3rd chapter of John.

TODAY IS YOUR DAY OF SALVATION! Tomorrow may be too late. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved” Acts 16:31.
SO, HOW IS ONE SAVED? HOW CAN WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE? Get your Bible and read 1 John 4:13 through 5:13.
This, is our God! God has made every provision for mankind, the God who came to lost, hopeless, and helpless humanity. God is always the aggressor in our relationship (Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:1-10; Romans 8:28-30). God came to man! Man does not come to God! God calls man! Man responds! Have you responded by receiving Christ?
You can become a child of God right now and become God’s child, God’s son or daughter (John 1:12). By faith in Christ, you will become God’s Adopted child (Romans 8:15; 9:4; Galatians 4:5; Ephesians 1:5). By believing in Christ, you receive Him as your own personal Savior (John 1:12). Believe and receive Christ right now. Just tell God the Father that you are trusting Christ, His only begotten Son as your personal Savior.
Go on, wait no longer. Blessings be on you in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Grace, Grace, God’s Grace …
Believers will be an Eternal display of God’s Grace.
