Thoughts to Ponder in Your Walk with the Lord (Part Fourteen)

Thoughts to Ponder in Your Walk with the Lord

READ, LINGER, PROCESS…

God is a divine mathematician. God’s exhale was the mathematical formulas that created creation.

When God removes the curse on creation, the harmony of mathematics will be heard by all of creation as it flows endlessly from the Throne of the Most High.

We are atoms (indivisible), descended from Adam with the same nature—indivisible— with volition (personal choice) and justice available to all who will believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Three elements to consider: void, matter, and life. God filled the void with matter, then exhaled life.

God works out predestined history by election, and history is worked out by natural causes and direct intervention.

God’s essence is changeless and timeless. Jesus took the justice of God on the cross so believers could receive forgiveness and mercy. God is and should be comforting to the believer, and threatening to the unbeliever. The believer sees God as love—the unbeliever fears God (whether they admit it or not). Each views a different God, but God is one. God doesn’t change because each sees Him differently. Human viewpoint does not make God what He is.

The answers to man’s problems are not man’s, but God’s. Man attempts to justify his actions and his issues. God, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Heaven, offers the only justification that is acceptable to Himself—His Son. God gives believers His righteousness, which saves our souls forever. How can anyone reject such an offer?

Mass media, especially movies, television, and videos, massage us into a hypnotic state to exchange the reality of truth for untruth, thereby removing God from the equation, the conscience, and the obligation of morality.

When does knowledge become wisdom? When exercised, when explored, when experienced. Once learned, twice shared—faith makes truth reality.

As believers, we anxiously await the earthly reign of our Lord-Savior-Messiah, but now, even now, we have the privilege of honoring Christ by allowing him to reign in our lives.

Confession of sin is the holy-washing of regenerating restoration. We are the flashlight, God is the power source. He lights the way from the darkness of desperation to the light of restoration.

Wisdom comes down from above, but only when it is taken in, processed, understood, and utilized, does it return fulfilled.

Do not be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. Do not allow Satan, by your disobedience and guilt, to keep you from “the assembly of ourselves” on Sunday. The Lord gives you every breath, every day—every heartbeat, every second. He gives you church for your benefit. If your sins are confessed, the resulting fellowship with God will lead you to church on Sunday. Fellowship with God is the leading of the Holy Spirit. When your Bible, daily, remains unopened, your heart remains unopened as well.

Inhale the word, exhale into life by action. Inhale God’s love, exhale into the world by the same.

God is like the sun—we cannot look at its brightness for long, yet we cannot see without it. Morality is like the sun—we cannot live long without it, and in the darkness there is no reference point, no hope, only destruction—self destruction.

Our life of hope ends with the reality of faith… in Christ’s glorious light.

There seems to be a need in all of us as we get older to falsify, destroy, or disguise the story of our lives—composing a slight bit of fiction and inserting it into the facts. We all live out our own particular fate, but God allows us the freedom of volition and violation.

The Bible is immutable certainty.

The body of flesh lies buried in the catacombs of oblivion.

The unbeliever is lost, adrift on unending waves of broken water.

Sickness, suffering, sorrow, and sin, are related to our fallen nature.
