Thought to Ponder in Your Walk with the Lord (Part Ninety-Three)

READ, PROCESS, LINGER…

The perceptive ability of the mind is not as critical as the content of the mind. If God’s Word of Truth does not fill the God-shaped void in the soul, falsehood will fill the soul instead. Remember, God’s perfect integrity is not impressed with anyone’s self-righteousness, nor with humanity’s integrity – He is impressed with how much of His Word is in us, and how much we apply His Word to our lives.

Before times eternal…

Christ is the unchanging expression, the immutable embodiment of His doctrine, His teaching. He is what He teaches. He is the beginning of all things. His is a beginning that has not a beginning, from ever and ever to always and always.

Death is a passage, one that takes us from this life into true reality with our Savior. Death is not darkness to the believer. Death is but a shadow. It is only a shadow because light makes a shadow. Jesus Christ is the light of believers, in believers, and ever-present through the valley. Wait and walk in Him until you see His smiling face, then take His hand; there is no need to look back. Walk into His eternal love – God blesses forever.

Father, your presence is everywhere – your seat is in Heaven.

When we look at life, do we see the length or the shortness?

We have become dismantled entities in a meaningless world while the government assumes more and more of our responsibilities. When we are not accountable for our actions and responsibilities, the government becomes our caretaker and we become slaves to government.

The flesh is a real nuisance, but a necessary evil, which makes spiritual rebirth all the more important. We spend much of our time catering to the body – it demands so much care. The older I get, the more care my body demands, and it’s getting desperate, as if it knows its days are numbered.

Americans are so inclined to content themselves in front of a television that their senses and thoughts become programmed with sexual innuendo, fear, disinformation, and a false sense of reality.

God, in His omniscience, knew before He created humanity that Adam would fall, and that He would give His Son for our redemption.

We cannot save ourselves. Only a perfect God-man could save us, and He did. He was and is Christ Jesus, the Lord.

Our thoughts each minute build our future one moment at a time.

Self-esteem affects our attitude, our habits, our mindset, and our future.

Much of life is the flow of thought in many directions.

Each of us finds our own way out of the Garden of Eden, few find the way back – Christ.

Spirituality is an inheritance received from the Father, through the Son, and by the Holy Spirit; the estate of it is incalculable.

Being grateful and considerate is two sides of one virtue.

There is a spiritual light switch inside every human being, it can only be turned on by God, through Christ. Come to Him and be fulfilled.

Only Truth is exclusive of contradiction.

Learn to see through the eyes of God, through Christ, through the Word, by the Holy Spirit.

It is imperative to stay near to the Lord, near the Word.

Disobedience, procrastination, and disbelief keep us from staying close to God.

True, enduring joy is found only on the inside, and is derived from the consistent intake and application of Bible doctrine, and from proper orientation to God. Joy is designed by God to be a permanent and stable happiness, providing inner peace and an assurance of God’s eternal love. With this joy, we are fulfilled in life – we become complete in eternity. Our own sin in the flesh wars against the joy of our salvation, the joy of our peace with God.

One’s wealth can best be measured by the things one can afford to live without.
