The current Church Age (a period of time from Pentecost to the Rapture) was not revealed in the Old Testament, but is now clearly delineated in the New testament (See Ephesians 3:1-11; Colossians 1:24-29; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). We, today, are living with the things that those people in the Bible had no idea was coming. Christ’s death on the cross changed everything. We are now our own individual believer-priest in that we represent ourselves before God, among many other things. The blessings we enjoy today were unheard of back in Bible times.
