Confidence in God’s Plan — NEW

Confidence in God’s Plan

By understanding the complete picture of history (the mosaic) of the first Adam and the second (last) Adam (Christ) and the purpose of the cross-work of Christ, believers can have extreme confidence in God’s perfect plan for them. The purpose of the cross-work of Christ resulted in Christ’s resurrection, ascension, glorification, and session at the right hand of the Father.

We believers are a new species designed by God through Jesus Christ our Lord. The Holy Spirit sustained the humanity of Christ during the incarnation and the cross. We believers have the same Holy Spirit of Christ in us. Christ empowers us to live life by actual daily experiences in the world, and in God’s Word we are more then conquerors in Christ.

Every born again believer should strive to learn and then apply Scripture in their daily lives. In doing so, we learn first hand, up close and personal, the security, hope, appreciation, and beauty of God’s plan for time and eternity.

In the Garden, God opened Adam’s side to secure the elements necessary to produce the woman. On the cross, men punctured Jesus’s side and the blood and water which flowed down became the building material upon which the Church is built (Colossians 2:12), releasing sacred blood for salvation and water from which the river of the water of life still flows today for all to come and freely drink. The water and the blood together contained the divine life that believers receive forever at the faith-point in Christ. Divine life was released on the cross through Christ’s death (John 7:37-39) and is available for all who would believe and receive.

Christ Himself foretold this very greatest of experiential results. Forgiveness and reconciliation flowed from Christ’s pierced side, and still does to all generations who will believe. The pouring out of blood and water was followed by the pouring out of the Holy Spirit because God the Father was propitiated. The cross-death, resurrection, ascension, and glorification of the incarnate Christ prove the salvation and eternal life in every believer.

Truly, we are new species and our Designer and Savior made it possible. We are heavenly partakers of His flesh and His bones and even His eternal spirit—a God-perfect plan in Christ (Reference Colossians 1:19 and 2:9).
