Thoughts to Ponder in Your Walk with the Lord

READ, LINGER, PROCESS…

Walk in truth through fields of grace. Abide there. Walk in love.


Standing; walking in truth-fields; remaining faithful. Standing or walking is just one step from stumbling.


Walk and practice truth. Protect truth from counterfeiters and untruths.


Works for salvation is a perversion of God’s grace.


The believer is preserved in Christ (Jude 24). It is the Lord who is able to keep us. We are called (mercy), sanctified (peace), and preserved (love).


“If declined, can knowledge be regained?” Yes, unless removal has taken place and the truth has been clothed in darkness.


If a person lacks “touch,” is the person untouchable? Touch is feeling, therefore Thomas touched the Lord and believed. It is the object of the touch that gives feeling.


The Bible is a written light, illuminating Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.


“Amen” can be translated as “so be it,” or “verily,” or “truly.”


Christ is the “ark” that saved mankind.


“Calvary” is a Latin name for “place of crucifixion” called “Golgotha,” meaning “a skull.” Also called “Mount Calvary” where Jesus was buried and rose.


Jesus Christ is the light of divine truth.


There is a structure not made with hands, eternal in heaven and in the soul of saved humanity.


In the millennium, and eternity, believers will always be in the light of God’s presence —the glory and beauty of His omnipresence.


I asked for wealth to do great things. I was given poverty to understand the suffering.

I asked for success to be praised by men. I was given failure that I would lean on God.

I asked for the necessities of life. God gave me eternal life that I may enjoy all things forever.

I received nothing I prayed for. I received more than I knew to hope for.


Three long days; the length of the endless nights—Christ in the tomb.


The place of the seven winds is an interesting thought. It causes me to want to go there.


Endless separation—endless darkness minus God, minus light—the same darkness that lasted three hours when God turned his back to the cross—utter darkness.


God’s mercy expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. Expulsion gave man a second chance to choose for or against God. Expulsion prevented man from eating from the tree of life, else to be immortal, chained in sin, with a sin nature, would be the most desperately depressing calamity for mankind.
