God’s thinking was Creation
Before the beginning of time
God must become one of us
And enter the world of time
God’s thoughts were Grace
Before the beginning of time
Christ must die for us
Or, cancel the beginning of time
God’s thoughts were love
Before the beginning of time
The name of Love was Jesus
The beginning and the end of time
God’s thoughts were you and me
Before the beginning of time
Christ died and rose for us
He paid for the sins of time
God’s thinking was the Word
Before the beginning of time
The Word is God with us
Until the end of time.
