HADES, a literal place located in the Earth, contains four compartments:
1). Paradise, where all departed Old Testament believers resided until Christ after His crucifixion and resurrection, went there and led all believers to glory in Heaven.
2). Torments, where the souls of all unbelievers reside until the Great White Throne Judgement.
3). Tartarus, the prison for the Nephilim until God permanently casts them into the Lake of Fire.
4). The Abyss, the prison for certain fallen angels and the place where Satan will be bound a thousand years following the Tribulation (Genesis 37:35; 42:38; Job 7:9; Psalms 49:15; Proverbs 15:11; Isaiah 38:10).
