Baptism Of The Holy Spirit

Performed by the Holy Spirit at the instant each person believes in Christ. Salvation and Baptism of the Spirit are not two different functions they are one and the same. At Salvation the Holy Spirit permanently indwells every Church-Age believer. Church-age believers are identified with Christ in his death; burial and resurrection.

Only the Church Age believer becomes a royal member of the family of God by means of this baptism at salvation. It is not a so-called “second blessing.” (See the following scripture references — Acts 1:5 Romans 6:3, 4; 1 Corinthians 12:13. Galatians 3:27; Ephesians 1:13, 14; 4:5; 1 Peter 2:5,9a; Revelation 1:6; 5:10).

SEALING OF THE SPIRIT/SIGNATURE GUARANTEE! This ministry of the Holy Spirit is a sealing ministry of “eternal union” with Christ. Sealing means signature. We have God’s “signature guarantee.” This is our eternal security – our eternal union with God. Nothing can break this seal and God does not change his mind, ever. God is Immutable. Proof of the absolute sealing of every Church-age believer is the “Indwelling” of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:13,14; 4:30).

The Holy Spirit is our paraclete-helper. The Holy Spirit is our power source for living the Christian Life.
