Forty Grace Gifts – Quick Study Numerical Summary

This study was originally compiled by Lewis Sperry Chafer and consisted of “Thirty-Six Things God Provides for Every Believer at Salvation.” Lewis Sperry Chafer, Founded Dallas Theological Seminary. It has been revised to 40 Gifts by R. B. Thieme, Jr. and presented here on WOTM for the perfecting of the saints (all believers are saints); for the work of the believer’s ministry; for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:7, 12-13).

40). ONE Revocable Absolute: The believer is indwelt with the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation (Gal. 3:3). The filling of the Holy Spirit received at salvation is reduced when the believer sins. The filling of the Holy Spirit is recovered when the believer utilizes 1 John 1:9 (when necessary), and names his known sins to God in private prayer. When filled with the Holy Spirit, the Holy spirit controls. The Holy Spirit is grieved, even quenched by sin, which means fellowship is interrupted, even broken — intimacy is reduced and the believer can feel the difference.

Believe in Christ. The Cross of His suffering was for you! Christ gave His life that you may have eternal life. Christ took your place on the Cross. His death paid for your sins, because the wages of sin is spiritual death (Romans 6:23).

Again, “Blessings in fields of Grace” is not a cliché, it is an everyday walk in fellowship with the Lord! ‘Fields of Grace’ are real! These fields refer to your walk with the Lord. They are literally, your daily experiences … wherever your steps take you, so why not plan each day in meditated listening and discussion with the Lord?

Meditate each morning. Get used to thinking with God and be on the lookout for opportunities. Always begin your day by thanking God for another day, another opportunity to serve Him, learn Him and apply Bible Doctrine to the details of everyday living in the devil’s world. When you pause often to meditate, His feedback will warm you inside and may even surprise you, from time to time. Just listen to His silent voice; listen for Him in the privacy of your own soul.

Life in fellowship with the Lord is intimate — an adventure in time, destined in eternity.

The Holy Spirit is meant to be your partner as you walk together through all the circumstances of life. STUDY in your STUDY BIBLE, and as needed admit your sin issue(s) via 1 John 1:9 to remain FILLED — It is an awesome trip. Learn to travel. Choose fellowship. Don’t go it alone. Follow the Lord. Amen.

Happy Studying in Fields of Grace
