Thoughts to Ponder in Your Walk with the Lord (Part Eighty-Six)

READ, PROCESS, LINGER…

TRUTH:

  • Truth is incomparable.
  • Each of us must learn to live the truth – let us begin by speaking it and learning it.
  • The deviation from truth is a journey of regret. Truth is priceless and self-sustained – truth is self-evident.
  • We exist in untruth – truth is a constant reminder; pay attention to truth – there is something about it that when it whispers, it shouts to the born again believer.
  • There is a chamber of light in the soul, given by God – a piece of God’s light.

MEET GOD:

  • Life is more intelligent than we are – always has been. Meet God.
  • We are confined to our body, to time, and to space. There is life without confinement. Meet God.
  • We don’t need a new science, we already have one waiting to be discovered. Meet God.
  • There is a place of endlessness, a place without a beginning, without an ending – it just is. Meet God.
  • It is the unseeable we search for, the unknowing we want to know, the knowledge of the non-physical without restraint, without limits, without laws, without pain and suffering, and without aggression and evil. Meet God.

Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father and he intercedes for us to the Father. Christ in his glorified humanity gives life to the born-again human spirit of each new believer who trusts in the cross-work Messiah – the eternal God. Each new believer becomes a member of the church (the body of Christ) here on Earth and in Heaven. Each believer born into God’s family becomes a member of a new species in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Read Ephesians chapter 1, verses 19 through 23 again and again. Go! Open your Bible and read it. Then you will understand that God’s greatest work is the life, death, and resurrection of Christ on our behalf. God did it all. God came to man. Christ’s very existence at birth was the miraculous merger of God and man in one entity. The life ministry of Jesus Christ prepared the path that his disciples and all future generations of believers would follow – some more successfully than others.

It is the Messianic period of history which has made the world intelligible and meaningful. The first coming of Messiah is the intersection of the past, present, and future of man and the God of eternity. Meet Jesus Christ; believe and be saved.

I am a blend of all I have learned and believed. The more I learn the more I portray my beliefs. My belief being manifested in my thoughts and resulting decisions and actions. Therefore, learn Messiah, learn Biblical understanding, learn divine viewpoint – this is the answer and proper purpose of life. Be learned.

All the Ages have much the same in common.

Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, was man’s second chance – a second Adam. Jesus the Messiah Savior was and is uniquely God and uniquely man. The humanity of Christ was and is subordinate to his transcendent sovereignty.

Christianity is, was, and remains an historical phenomenon, a cosmic drama ever imminent and ever unfolding.

The Bible is the white fire that burns in the darkness of fallen man.

The Bible is not about man’s theology, it is about humanity’s depravity and God’s revelation of Himself in the person of Jesus Christ, God’s own son, as humanity’s answer to humanity’s problems.
