Thoughts to Ponder in Your Walk with the Lord (Part Eighty-Nine)

READ, PROCESS, LINGER…

Fear weeps – Faith smiles.

Because we know the Creator, we can pursue life optimistically in the devil’s world.

Final reality is not by chance, it is by design.

Tyranny established for the good of all makes all into victims.

The collision course of good and evil shall remain inevitable as long as there are those who think they can construct their own reality without God, without interference. Satan originated this intellectual concept before his own demise.

Intellectuals without Christ are pagans unknowingly searching for Christ, and in all the wrong places.

Gossiping behind someone’s back reveals jealousy in one’s presence. We see one’s strengths and are jealous. We see one’s weaknesses and gossip or judge them. If our own weaknesses are hidden, who is the hypocrite?

The debt is paid! Reject it and you will spend forever paying for the endless price of divine justice. Christ paid your sin debt once, for all time, so you have only the obligation to trust in Christ. This is the cross. This is grace.

If Jesus was not the Christ then He must have been anti-Christ. Since he wasn’t anti-Christ, He was the Christ.

A key aspect in Christian integrity: being truthful and being faithful to truth.

Truth neutralized eventually destroys freedom and society. Freedom is always under attack because evil never rests.

If we each choose our own truth then we each choose our own road to destruction of the soul, and society will collapse. If we are all right then we’re all wrong.

The epistle of Romans tells the unrighteous of God’s method of salvation. God gives His own perfect righteousness to the sinner who believes. This is the doctrine of imputation. Sin was imputed to all men, therefore righteousness is imputed at the moment of salvation – this is God’s justice. Romans is God’s shout-out to a lost and dying world.

The subject of the book of Romans is stated in Romans 1:16-17, “the Gospel of salvation by the power of God,” demonstrated by and in His begotten Son, Christ Jesus the Lord. There is no other way to God except faith in the death, sacrifice, and resurrection of Christ. In verses 16 and 17, Paul emphatically states that salvation by faith alone in Christ alone imputes God’s righteousness, and the new believer’s life should be lived by faith and obedience.

The Messiah speaks in Isaiah chapter 50 verse 4, “… he awakens me morning by morning, he awakens my ear to listen as a disciple.” Mark tells us in his Gospel, “in the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there” (Mark 1:35).

God’s greatest expression of wisdom, love, and mercy is the cross.

Egotism blurs the creator-creature relationship between man and God, setting man’s will against God’s will. The fool is devoid of Bible doctrine. Both believer and unbeliever are included in this folly. To be devoid of Bible doctrine is to live in darkness, unable to discern truth from untruth.

Divine wisdom always leads one to the cross.

The endless pursuit of vanity warps the soul ’till all is vanity.

God has rejected man’s wisdom and man’s righteousness. How terrible that man has rejected God’s wisdom, God’s Son, God’s own righteousness.

The soul of each genuinely born-again believer knows it has found truth by the forgiveness that radiates from the cross, lighting the soul.
