READ, PROCESS, LINGER…
The nature of society is reflected by each individual.
There are no dead people, there are only dead bodies.
Body and soul are intrinsic so that we do not feel locked in. We are in Christ so we do not feel locked out.
Life changes and we must adjust, but it is how we cope with the adjustments, not the changes, that makes life smoother or more difficult.
All things belong to God – all knowledge comes from God.
We fellowship with God, and we should fellowship with each other. God serves us, and we should serve others.
We were created to be God’s creative tool to do His work in the world (salt of the earth), and from the Holy Spirit’s leading and guidance, God calls out His chosen ones.
If nothing awaits us after death… What is life for? Why do we even live? If death ends our existence, is there no restitution for suffering, pain, and persecution?
I exalted logic and deemed emotions a hindrance to clear thinking. Emotion is needed for poetry and as an appreciator for life and the events within it. Objective thinking is imperative for logic.
There are a lot of distractions in the world.
It bothers me that people consider themselves good. “God knows I try to do right.” So, how much is good enough to satisfy God, for God to accept me? How good must I be and how do I know the answer, how do I find out from an impersonal God how to please Him?”
Good deeds don’t cause God to look at me, but they cause ME to look at ME.
Integrity is loyalty to truth. Truth exists in three categories: 1.) Divine Laws of God’s establishment. 2.) The Gospel of Salvation for unbelievers. 3.) Bible Doctrine for believers.
Some people are too smart for their own good… orfor anyone else’s.
If you want an “out of body experience,” go into your soul.
Integrity is loyalty to truth, it is faithfulness to God. God’s integrity is defined by His faithfulness to man.
When we turn God off in our lives, it doesn’t affect God, it affects us.
All believers of the Church Age are royal priests and royal ambassadors. A royal priest represents himself before God, a royal ambassador represents the absent Christ before humanity and angels.
Patience, humility, and gentleness are needed when believers are confronted by disagreements. Spiritual maturity must be exercised.
From birth, we exercise our sin nature without a teacher. Our sin nature is inherent in our flesh, genetically, and we simply express it from birth until we pass to heaven as believers and escape our flesh. Free, free at last, and home. Home at last with Jesus.
God knows our every thought. Our thoughts are not hidden from Him, only from ourselves in a place called denial.
The invisible spiritual realm is somehow known to the believer’s eye of faith.
Action gives life to God’s word. God’s Word gives life to action. The Holy Spirit empowers God’s Word.
