The title of Messiah literally means “the Anointed One.” In Hebrew “masiah” is parallel to “Christos” in the Greek. Both mean ‘anointed one.’ Jesus Christ as Messiah is the Prophet, Priest, and King of Israel. Always has been, always will be — believe it or not.
