Faith-Perception

(Based on Roman 8:28-32)

Your understanding of salvation and the filling of the Holy Spirit comes by means of faith-perception – knowledge, understanding, acceptance, belief.

Faith-perception (meditation and recall of doctrine) makes the power of the Holy Spirit, and the spiritual life of the believer, a reality in our thinking. Reality is not what we feel, not what we assume, not what tradition or religion has taught us, but Bible doctrine taught by our mentor – the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:7; 2 Peter 1:3,19-21) and, hopefully, by the pastor in the local church. Learn God.

You cannot love God any more than you know God.

Every believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit and, as a result, is the recipient of the ministries and mentoring of the Holy Spirit (John 7:9; Romans 5:5; 8:9; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; Galatians 4:6; 1 John 3:24). Be sure to read Ephesians 3:14-21.
