Just Down The Road

There’s a place just down the road

No one knows how far

Where every soul must go

No matter who you are

There’s a place just down the road

And no one can really state

When they will meet the end of that road

And shake the hand of fate

There’s a place just down the road

Where every name is on a sign

Where each soul, young or old,

Will meet their end of time

There’s a place just down the road

That no one can find

Nor see the place of its abode

Till they cross the finish line

There’s a place just down the road

There may be warning signs

But only God knows our end of the line

He alone knows the place of the sign
