Thoughts to Ponder in Your Walk with the Lord

READ, LINGER, PROCESS…

Understand this—human viewpoint supplants divine establishment. Panaceas captivate the ignorant. Religion is anti-Christ.

The entire world is being gathered and prepared for dictatorship.

It is the sin nature that tempts us to commit sin. This inherent distorter of human life continually opposes God’s plan for blessing humankind (Galatians 5:17).

Human nature is unreliable, unstable, and unable to handle good or evil.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident.” More than any other time in our history, Americans need to lock-on to the truths that keep us free, or lose them to the untruths that make us slaves.

Unmask untruth or lose the freedom to do so.

Mankind must return to truth—to God—God benefits mankind. God blesses mankind based on His truths. Obedience to law shows (reveals) respect, faith/belief in God, and results in love and respect for others. Seek truth by responding to the obviousness of God. Humble yourselves to God. God is real and fascinating! Submit to God.

God has spoken through His Son, His Word, and His Holy Spirit… but who is listening?

Naturalism in science becomes the basis for liberalism in morality.

From one man’s suffering cross and death
flows eternal life to receive;
for Christ rose again, defeating death,
with life to all who believe.
— C. S. Craig

One’s concept of God is small because one’s knowledge of Bible doctrine is small.

The biblical claims of God in His Word are rational propositions supported by reason and evidence—the evidence being, in part, the material (physical) world, the complexity of the human body and life in general, and the heavens themselves, whose perfect traffic pattern is maintained by God Himself.

Christianity is much more than “absurdity in obscurity,” it is objective reality.

Cultural change is grassroots—transforming the thought patterns of the masses. The “great” commission is a “cultural” commission establishing a people under the Lordship of Christ. Grace must be common to the common—”common grace” for common man of every culture.

If anything must be held captive let it be thought. Thought must be conformed, transformed, and renewable.

History, science, music, art, and education are mere explorations of God’s truths.

Culture’s first four letters are “cult.” Cults thrive when the Biblical God is left on the shelf. Idolatry is the root of any culture departed from the Biblical God and the Gospel.

The nature of man: substituting himself for God. The nature of God: substituting Himself for man. The problem therefore is there are billions of little gods in substitution, ruling their own little worlds.

Faith sees the wreath of salvation, and Christ from the cross to His throne in Heaven. The outstretched arms of Christ provided salvation. Those same arms outstretch from Heaven toward us, still.

I am the result (offspring) of ancestors I never knew: descendants shall be born that I shall not see. I wonder if they’ll think back to me.

We are all dependent on the past, responsible for the future. We are all part of the human chain. We are all children of the past and children of the future. Human life comes from human parents. Soul-life comes from God, breathed. Spiritual life comes from a spiritual Father by his spiritual Son.
