We were created whole – a seamless piece of love.
Faith is the most commonly used perception of every human being – yet saving faith is rare.
The weeping willow hangs like a widow’s veil,
the wind sighing through the spruce trees
could be hopeless passion, or misfortune.
Who could foretell this frenzied flowing song?
Then came the whistling singer.
From deep in the woods echo tones of sadness.
It seems the whole of the earth gives heed, quieting… listening.
And then teardrops sounded on the rocks…
… and silence became silent.
The sunset flames all aglow, then fading into night. Darkness has swallowed the breath of fire once more.
Life can be a noble quest, but only to the few. The glory of this world passes away. All is silent in the empty chambers.
Leaves spiral downward, ablaze in the glory of splendid death. Fall is so colorful, yet I feel sorry for Autumn. Soon, the winds of change will sweep them clean, and purple nakedness is all that will remain. In my heart I sense the lifelong loneliness nudging me once again. The forests are deserted. The timbered walls sleep, standing against the wind and ice. Life and beauty. Death and decay. Helpless woods await the dawning of spring and the resurrection from frozen sleep. Nature, like me, awaits the dawn of resurrection morn and the trumpet’s call. But for now the grief and the joy of my predestined hour keep me company. Life is but a stage before eternity. Farewell, oh winged imagination. Farewell to all I have known to live and lived to know. Farewell until we meet again at time’s end.
