Government bailouts encourage bad investment (weak qualifications for borrowers, creating a false economy riding a roller coaster of success, then failure. ‘No fear of failure’ encourages failure (i.e. the housing boom of 1990 and forward, until the balloon burst in 2008). Credit will always be artificial and eruptive. Ron Paul, the author of Liberty Defended said it well. “If we want to cure the bust, don’t create the boom.”
Have self-reliance, self-dependence, self-productiveness… or self-destruct.
