God knows we cannot stop being human, but He wants us to be more spiritual, so we will be less humanistic. He wants us to be more like Christ, His Son, so we will be less like ourselves.


When I was growing up, I liked skipping flat stones across the surface of the water. As an adult, I have enjoyed skipping stones back across the ages, across cultures – through the Bible.


The world has so much potential. We are here to do our part to help it reach new heights in Christ.


My goal through WOTM and my daily real life experiences are to do my part, to have an impact in helping others find answers to the questions and disbelief, ones blocking their first steps onto the spiritual journey with Christ.


The term “theology,” according to its etymology is a compound of two Greek words, “theos” – God, and logos – speech or expression. Both Christ, the Living Word, and the Bible, the Written Word, are the “Logos of God.”


The function of systematic theology is to unfold or roll out the Scripture. The job of the pastor/teacher is the maturing of believers for the work of daily ministry in application to the details of life. Get with it, pastors!


The God of Glory stepped out of heaven to pay for my sin debts. How can I live habitually in sin anymore? I want to be happy, at peace with my God, my Savior, so I will obey and stop living under the control of my flesh. I will live as much as I keep surrendered to the Holy Spirit, not surrendered to my flesh.
