WHAT IS TRUTH?
It is not that Christianity is good as much as it is Truth is good. The result of truth is good. Truth comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Truth originates with God. Truth is the criteria for establishing truth. Jesus Christ IS Truth. Truth redeemed mankind and the truths of God’s Word are the guiding lights for humanity. The power of truth is in truth. Truth is omnipotent. Truth preserves freedom. If the world operated in Truth the result would be a perfect world.
Truth is the revelation (the revealing) of absolute integrity. Veracity is the Truth-Essence of God in one word. (See “Divine Essence.”)
It is difficult to understand the imperative of the Cross. But, as adults and especially as mature believer’s, His Cross, His Truth, His Love, His Mercy, His Forgiveness are the reality of meaning and life. Our delight as God’s child is knowing God as our Father. God’s Truth (Jesus Christ) became flesh for the world to see. Christ was innocent when He died for you and me. The Cross is visible in history and it will be visible forever. The Cross is the most important detail of life — for the details of life. Jesus Christ is the most well known person in human history. In Him we know Truth and have our being.
The very essence of life is Truth and Truth is its own guardian. God is Justice and it is God’s Justice that guards His Absolute Righteousness. Truth is the guardian of life. Jesus Christ is Truth and He is Life. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. People everywhere are searching for truth — someone to trust. The Cross of Christ is the Truth the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. Search no further, the Son, died for you. The first letter of Truth is a Cross.
The question is not “what is Truth,” the question is “who” is Truth? Truth is! Truth is “I Am” (Exodus 3:14). The Truth is: Christ died for the untruth of mankind (Romans 5:8-9). Have you accepted “The Truth” (Christ)? If you have not accepted Christ you have rejected Him.
When man makes Truth what he thinks it should be, he makes God a liar and he makes God what he wants God to be — God in man’s own image. This is Idolatry! Rejection of Truth is a form of idolatry. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved (Acts 16:31).
In closing, the human race has been judged as unrighteous, dead in trespasses and sin, and under condemnation (judgment) of God (John 3:14 -18; 3:36; 5:24; Romans 3:23; 5:8). The Adamic race is condemned (Romans Chapters one through five). But, the gift of God to mankind is Jesus Christ who provided eternal life. Christ has reconciled us to God.
You can accept the truth (Christ) right now and pass from death to eternal life. Trust the Cross of Truth – Jesus Christ. Trust His death in your place and His resurrection for your eternal life. If you will, God by His Grace through His Son will save you right now and forever (Ephesians 2:8-9).
